Holiday Faire - Snow Queen and Gnome Village
The Whatcom Hills Waldorf School invites you to enjoy their Holiday Faire featuring children's activities including: visit the Snow Queen and receive a cookie and a magic wish; explore Gnome Village and dig for crystals, and enjoy a snack of cinnamon apple slices; see the Pocket Man and pick a pocket for a surprise treat (glass jewels and other small toys).
Arts and crafts activities include beeswax candle rolling, wool felted soap making, sewing wool felt gnomes, and making colorful transparent paper stars.
The school store will be open and selling toys, arts and crafts supplies, and other items. Purchase handmade, local items from the Artisan Marketplace. Stop by the Wooden Spoon Cafe for homemade soup, bread and goodies (with gluten free options available).
There will also be marionette and puppet shows for the children, and live music provided by students and community members. Music includes choir, strings, band, recorder concert, and three-piece folk band.
FREE parking at The Firs, and FREE Shuttle Service to and from the school.
